In this section I’ll be answering a frequently asked question.
Q: How do I make a new page in my dropdown menu.
A: This is probably one of the more trickier parts of managing a website.
The geek terminology is parent and child. Just like the name suggests, the parent is the root/top or container page and the child is the sub page, the link that pops out under a dropdown.
Another example is a blog or news section where all the sub pages are pulled in and a brief summary is displayed.
Say this was your current page structure:
Home
About
Products
Category 1
Contact
Then in the CMS you would click little + next to products and then simply duplicate Category 1. Give it a new name and new content. Lastly in the settings tab tick published, save it and your done!

Just for Fun
Most designers use a bit of latin called Lorem Ipsum for filler text in websites and print work. It’s the standard for dummy text while the real content is being made. But some people have obviously found this boring!
