Google is now grouping keyword search volumes.
What we mean by “grouping keyword volumes,” is that keywords with slightly different meanings are given the same search volume. For example, if “plumber Melbourne” was searched 1,225 times in a month and “plumber in Melbourne area” was searched 1,005 times these would be reported as the same amount.
