A big congratulations to Clinton from Amaru on his win!
On May 30th, Clinton McIver from Amaru was set the challenge of creating a dish on MasterChef in the Immunity Challenge against contestant Tamara. His lamb on rosemary ash dish was spectacular and wowed the judges. Clinton was declared the winner with 27 points out of 30. Excellent news!
As we host, and had designed and built their website, the team at Amaru, contacted us in advance because they knew that there would be high volumes of traffic on the night and wanted to be prepared. We were able to formulate a plan using Cloudflare (a DOS attack mitigation tool) which would allow higher numbers than usual to visit the website, at one time. On the night, almost 200,000 people viewed the website within a ten minute period! The site remained up and active throughout this monumental number.
